You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or noticing patterns in your thoughts, emotions, or relationships that are difficult to shift on your own. At times, it can feel like you understand what’s happening, but still find yourself responding in the same ways.

Individual therapy offers a space to slow things down and explore your inner world more deeply. Together, we work to understand the patterns shaping your experiences. Including how past relationships and experiences may be influencing the present.

Drawing on psychodynamic, CBT, and emotion-focused approaches, the work supports greater clarity, self-understanding, and emotional steadiness. Over time, this can help you relate to yourself with more compassion and move through life with a stronger sense of confidence and direction.

You may find yourselves having the same arguments, feeling misunderstood, or noticing a growing sense of distance in your relationship. Even when there is care and intention, it can feel difficult to break out of patterns that leave you both feeling frustrated or alone.

Couples therapy focuses on understanding what’s happening beneath these moments, particularly the emotional needs and protective responses that shape how you relate to one another.

Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Method principles, we work to slow down conflict, strengthen emotional safety, and support more open and meaningful connection. Rather than only improving communication, the focus is on helping you feel more understood, more supported, and more secure within your relationship.

Over time, this creates more stable, connected, and lasting ways of relating even in moments of difficulty. For an overview on what to expect in couples therapy click here.
